Smoove Lube is a product of Ruan, from South Africa. It's made by him, in Pretoria. But that's not who I am. I'm Thomas, someone who loves Smoove and all of its performance benefits. Ruan and I go back quite a way now and so having worked together once before, we've renewed our relationship to once again, make Smoove available in the UK direct to consumer and to trade.

Ruan set out to create a chain lube that would work well for the type of riding that's so popular in South Africa. Stage racing! Down there, you could ride a Cape-Epic style stage-race most weekends of the year. And contrary to belief, it's not always dry and sunny!

Smoove's brief was to create a chain lube that didn't need to be re-applied mid-race (big, long races), but culd also survive a multitude of weather conditions. Sun and dust, but also wet and mud, sleet and snow, off road or on.
